Rosemary has been performing in plays since 1973 and has appeared in approximately 20.
She specialises in comedy roles & has played a variety of characters including Madame Arcati in Noel Coward's "Blythe Spirit", and an 88 year old Auntie in "Wedding of the Year"!
She has also taken principal roles in musicals; the most recent being 'Elsa' in "The Sound of Music" and 'Golde' in "Fiddler on the Roof"
Rosemary is, and I quote, "equally happy in the chorus" but we all know that she is, as is know in the business, "A real ALL ROUNDER"
Not only is she the hon. sec. of Heckmondwike Players, but she is the scenic artist! And has been since 1973 when she was asked to "paint a few trees" for "Iolanthe"
She also does the make-up during the shows, organises social events, throws her home open to all and sundry in the vain attempt to make extra money for "The Players" and offers the provervial shoulder to anyone who finds life is just too much to cope with!
Every society has a "Rosemary"... We're so grateful we have ours!
